"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Northrend. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Greymane gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
[edit] Physical Description
A gaunt memory of a man, dark whispers of a form twisted by the blighting cold and malice of the looming north. He is short, small, the bare remnants of a weak body - moving with frozen patience and flowing precision it is obvious a cold will is all that animates this shattered husk. Icicles and the frosted snows of haunted winters hang off bones chilled to shining ivory. He radiates cold. His presence pulls life toward inviting slumber. His voice is the polar bellow of a glacial valley. His stare is the clouded hint of an arctic peak. He is bleak. He is biting. He is bitter. He is the North Wind.
[edit] History
When Kel'Thuzad was exiled by the Kirin Tor; he was banished, exiled. He was not alone. He carried with him supporters, sympathizers and friends. Percyval Northwind was one of them, perhaps all three. Leaving with his friend, Percy abandoned the Mageocracy of Dalaran and set out to pursue his magical studies without pause for fear of already come discovery. Though not a fledgling necromancer like the now infamous Kel'Thuzad, he did often experiment in arts deemed unsavory by his short-sighted predecessors. When his friend returned from council with a great Northern King, bearing news of a coming storm - he was one of the first to willingly submit himself to the Cult of the Damned. Donating his inherited family's holdings, he gave everything his adopted father had built to the fledgling Religion. He attended courses in Dark Arts, Necromancy and Small business accounting at the Colleges of Scholomance - graduating alongside the peculiar Churchill.
The events of the third war, as it is called, are quite well detailed. Suffice to say, that Northwind participated - marching with the Scourge. That too, he did so willingly. He is a Lich, by choice.
