[edit] Physical Description
Jazzarah keeps her hair long: at least five times her height. To prevent it from interfering with her work, she keeps it in a tight bun piled on her head. She's a full figured gal with kind eyes and soft hands.
[edit] History
Jazzarah was born in Dun Morogh. She dreamed of becoming a great singer and would often perform in front of anyone who would stay to listen. She took to drinking at an early age and found it greatly improved her singing voice but for some reason her friends, parents, and fellow villagers didn't notice the improvement, often leaving the general area when she broke into song. She soon discovered the one exception: singing in the choir of the local church of the Light, which combined the dwarven appreciation of drink with holy scripture and song. She had a captive audience--no one was willing to leave in the middle of a church service--and they could finally appreciate her talents. Indeed, they appreciated it so much the village put up the funds for her to start her adventuring career.
Jazzarah dreamed of seeing the world and performing in the Cathedral of Light in front of the archbishop and throngs of listeners. Now a newly ordained priest of Light, she was in a position to spread the word of the Light and gain the respect of other races in the world, requirements to gain the attention of the archbishop. Her secret goal was to end the war between the Alliance and the Horde, uniting the world through her angelic voice and the wisdom of the Light. But the war mentalities run hot and she stayed quiet about her grand ambitions of peace.
Then, on August 21st, she learned of the prophecy of Deathwing. A great cataclysm was about to behalf Azeroth and, perhaps worse, no one seemed to care! They went on with their everyday lives, writing the prophecy off as nonsense and paranoia. Still, she found sympathetic ears and founded The End Is Nigh guild to form mutual defense in the face of the coming apocalypse. Her singing career put in the far, far back burner, Jazzarah's faith and convictions have taken precedence. She still treats her fellow "enemies" found in the Horde with respect, but, sadly, her frustrations stemming from the poor priorities of her peers encourages her to let out more steam on the Horde than she cares to admit. She still drinks, and might break out into drunkened song when the mood suits her, especially after she became convinced the drink helps her spellpower as well as her voice. Thus, she tends to save her alcohol for dungeons, when that extra bit of oomph is most likely to save a life.
