Physical Description
Luathu is among the oldest of the surviving Draenei, and that is quite apparent in his physical features. He has graying hair that is so long, it must be braided and draped over both his shoulders. His face shows a few scars from encounters with the Burning Legion and the orcs. He has uncharacteristically dark skin for a Draenei, and he is relatively short.
History
Luathu was just a young child when Sargeras, Kil'jaeden, and the Burning Legion invaded Argus. His father followed the two treacherous Eredar, but his mother refused and followed Velen, taking Luathu with her. They followed Velen to the homeworld of the then peaceful and shamanistic orcs, Draenor. There Luathu was raised to adulthood and became a powerful priest of the Holy Light. His incredible comprehension and command of the Light earned him much respect among the other Draenei.
When the orcs were corrupted by the Legion and attacked the Draenei, Luathu was near the frontlines using the Light to keep as many alive as he could. His efforts were futile though and the orcs pushed his people to the brink of extinction. Velen gathered the few survivors left and fled Draenor. During the attack, Luathu's mother became corrupted by the Legion. Losing her connection to the Light and even her sanity, she refused to leave with Luathu and fled toward the wilderness of what is now known as Outland.
Luathu swore to return to Outland and find his lost mother, but fate had different plans. The Exodar was sabotaged by a group of Blood Elves, causing to crash onto a strange new world. This is where Luathu's new story begins.
